KU GRAD STUDENT CRITICALLY INJURED AFTER INGESTING TOXIC CHEMICAL

A University of Kansas graduate student is in critical condition at a Lawrence hospital after he ingested a toxic chemical, according to an alert put out by the university. The student is believed to have accidentally ingested sodium azide while working on the Fifth Floor of Malott Hall late Wednesday.
