SPEED LIMITS AND SPEEDING TICKET PENALTIES

Toxic Chemical: Speed Limits and Speeding Ticket Penalties

Okay. Speeding tickets are tickets handed out by police officers for exceeding the posted speed limit. Residential areas are guided by a 25 mile per hour speed limit and highways are guided by a 50 mile an hour speed limit unless posted. Meaning if the speed limit is 55 or 65 it would be posted. Then you have to abide by that speed limit. One to 14 miles an hour above the speed limit is two points; 15 to 29 miles an hour above the speed limit is four points; 30 and above is a five point ticket considered a willful violation and most times it will result in the suspension of your driving privileges. If you have any questions about that, please feel free to give me a call.
